You will oversee and contribute to the production of training courses and other products, from short talks, multi-week training courses, to guides and videos. Your responsibilities:- Oversee and coordinate the production of new training courses and other communications products and publications including guides
- Turn our training outlines into functioning training courses on our online training platform
- Liaise with and write design briefs for external contractors
- Create beautiful and consistent slide sets, handouts, workbooks, and runsheets
- Provide tech support in the live sessions
- Wrangle and support your busy but enthusiastic colleagues to do their part at the right time
- Support the training team and the Training and Delivery Manager with their responsibilities
We would also love you to help in the following areas if you have any of these skills, but these are not essential to the role.- Create visual content for our communications
- Create digital implementation tools
- Design templates for proposals and publications
- Support our communications team
- Proof-read publications
The remuneration range for this position is $70,000-$90,000 depending on your level of experience. The hours are 32hrs per week (negotiable).About youWe're a flexible, inclusive employer and we want a team that reflects the diversity of our community. - Knowledge of training delivery and design
- Experience communicating ideas visually, verbally and in writing
- An ability to use technology in creative ways to optimise how we deliver our training
- Creating a training or product for clients
- Adept at using technology including Google Suite, online training platforms such as Moodle, Mailchimp, Squarespace, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Acrobat Pro, or an ability to learn
- Awareness of what it means to create accessible content
- A willingness to learn
Professional experience, qualifications and knowledge preferred.- Previous experience in a similar role
- A tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline such as project management, training production, or design is desirable but not compulsory
- Experience creating content for complex material such as science, health, or social sciences
